Hello everyone! If I haven’t already had the chance to tell you, this summer I will be working a co-op as a BCUOMA Summer Ambassador. This job involves me travelling around the province with a partner to promote environmental responsibility on the behalf of the BC Used Oil Management Association (BCUOMA) as well as a handful of other recycling programs. The bottom line is that almost everything is recyclable, from oil and antifreeze to electronics of all sizes, and it is all of our responsibilities to take advantage of FREE recycling services by dropping these objects off at our nearest location (they are everywhere, as you will see through my travels) at their end of use.

In this position I will be posting regularly to another blog specifically for BCUOMA Ambassadors here at the: BCUOMA blog. In addition, I will operate this personal blog in order for my friends and family to stay updated on my travel adventures. Make sure to check back here over the summer, and feel free to comment!

Best wishes,
